The responsibility for ensuring any Company is complying with all statutory regulations remains with the Company itself. It is also the Company’s responsibility to undertake the continual monitoring of the business and its processes. This can become a minefield if not managed efficiently.

UPD have produced a comprehensive set of guidelines to assist with the compliance of all legal requirements set out within the Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations. Included in this programme is a list of those regulations that relate specifically to the bodyshop, as well as a compilation of management recording and reporting systems. Whilst by no means exhaustive, this programme does provide a clear strategy for any organisation to implement in conjunction with the appropriate regulations available from your Local Authority, the Environmental Services and any other such bodies.
