People Management and Development Workshops
Following on from the successful ATA / VDA workshops that provide an essential insight for Estimators undergoing assessment, UPD have developed a new one-day workshop to “Release the Potential” of the bodyshop workforce.
UPD recognise that people are the biggest investment you will make in your business. In order to select, develop and keep the best people, the training covers the HOW, WHY, WHAT and WHEN of People Management.
The one-day workshop covers:
Ø HOW – to recruitment and getting it right first time – specifying what you need from a candidate, how to evaluate them and be sure you select the right person
Ø WHY – communication is essential at all levels, how to issue clear directives, both written and spoken - avoiding misunderstandings and costly mistakes
Ø WHAT - are the best ways to motivate and get the most from your team? How to measure and reward them AND demonstrate improvements in productivity
Ø WHEN - do should you train, coach or mentor? When all else fails - discipline as a last resort
All attendees will receive a free 'People Manual' which will give you everything you need to comply with the PAS 125 standards, with implementation instructions throughout the Workshop.
